Not too long ago I was interviewed by a wonderful writer, Tatsha Robertson, for The 2014 Power Issue of EbonyUnited Yet Divided: Why Race [Still] Matters.” Our family’s story is featured under #NEXTSTEPS on page 105 and except for the fact that I’m not an attorney, the article is great and I’m thrilled, especially with the plug for my (very) old book, Morning by Morning: How We Home-Schooled Our African-American Sons to the Ivy League.  Back in 2003 the late, great Professor Derrick Bell told CMadison, “Paula’s book will be even more relevant 10 years from now.”  It looks as if he was right-YAY! Educational options remain a hot button issue and black families are the fastest growing segment in the U.S. to explore homeschooling as one of those options.  So, thanks to Tatsha Robertson for the great interview, thanks to Ebony for publishing it and if you have time to read it and share your thoughts, well thanks to you too!
